Author: Sea
A terrible disease in my opinion. My dad has it. He worked hard all his life to provide a good life for his family, saving and withholding his desires of pampering himself with luxuries. And now retired, with most of the family obligations fulfilled, he can't indulge himself with what he is passionate about, food. Its really sad watching him eat those plain untasteful food while he still provides us with the best. He has been battling it for 4 years now, medications, yoga and exercises with controlled diet; still the disease is there. So heres a little more info on the disease if you care to know.
It is a disease where improper functioning of insulin causes the sugar level in the blood to increase and may cause heart problem, kidney failure, blurred vision if not treated timely. Although it is said that hereditary and genetics leads to diabetes, it is also caused by the increased production of glucose level in the blood vessels and reduced production of glucose in the body, and also caused due to infections caused by viruses. Other causes are due to Stress, obesity, increased cholesterol level, excess intake of oil and sugar, and no physical exercise.
You will probably guess it by the symptoms. Loss of weight indicates that there is a problem in the blood sugar level and functioning of insulin; Blurred vision; Frequent urination is one of major symptom that indicates diabetes; Severe hunger pain or emptiness, stress and irritation also give sign of diabetes.
Here's a list of Dos and Don's I got from a pamphlet:

Plastic Surgery
Author: Sea
Why? I mean its horribly painful. Yet many I see more and more people doing it. Even my wife has got a nose job done. Huh! I didn't realize how common it was until I paid more attention to whats happening around me. Nose jobs, implants, enlargements, lifts... and I thought Plastic surgery was a kind of re-constructive procedure for those who were born with a deformed or less attractive body, where defaced areas are restored. Oh how wrong I was. It is more like cosmetics.
I just saw a show on TV and according to it, "Plastic surgery happens in a culture where we are impaled on the effects of first impressions." Isn't the whole world impaled on that effect? Does it mean its a global phenomena? I know that if a woman ceases to be attractive physically, it affects the physical and intimate relationship. But with age, everyone ceases to be attractive; thats life! U Ugly, Me Ugly.

Ok, this dish is pretty simple to prepare and good for using up leftovers. It actually originated from China(if I remember correctly) and brought to Thailand by the original Thais. This one is gonna take about 15 mins to feed 4 people(depends on ur intake capacity).
So here goes the ingredients:

- half medium onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 lb. pork loin, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, sliced into 8 wedges
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp. fish sauce (or soy sauce)
- 1 tsp. sugar (don't forget)
- half tsp. pepper
- half tsp. cayenne pepper (if u want)
- 4 c. cold cooked rice
- Heat 1 tbsp. oil over medium heat for 1 min on a wok, then add the eggs and scramble them. Set it aside on a plate and clean the wok.
- Heat 3 tbsp. oil over medium heat for 1 minute. Add onions, pork, and garlic and stir like hell. Let it cook for about 2 mins stirring when u want to.
- Add tomato and green onions and stir 'here n there' for 2 mins until the tomatoes soften.

- Add rice, breaking apart any clumps. Mix them up and cook for about 7 mins.
- Add scrambled eggs and mix again.

Bored

Its 0230 hours and can't get to sleep. Don't know what to do, just bored. Maybe a quick smoke will be good, but let me finish writing my first post first. hahaha. Whats there to write about? Well, I just write whats in my mind now.
Google Adsense. When I just signed up, the form required me to fill in a zip code. Where I am located, there is no zip postal code. The only codes that I know of is area code for telecommunication and my city ward number which is only a single digit. so how did i fill it in? I filled in half my house registration number. What else could I do? Its stupid! Or maybe I'm ignorant, but I do not know my zip postal code, hahaha. But I tried so hard with so many other possible codes, but it only accepted 5 characters(digits) and their little blue '?' mark beside the Zip input was supposed to help me find my code, but it didn't. And it didn't accept any of of my inputs. huff... nvm.
